BEIJING (Reuters) - China's commerce ministry on Tuesday announced it would continue to impose anti-dumping duties on hydroiodic acid imports from the United States and Japan for five years, adding that China's own producers of the iodine ingredient would suffer otherwise.
The announcement will take effect from Oct. 16, with U.S. producers facing a 123.4% tariff and Japanese firms a 41.1% duty rate, the statement said.
