Argentina's bonds point to heavy falls after Milei drubbing
LONDON, Sept 8 (Reuters) - Argentina's international bonds were pointing 5-6 points lower on Monday, investors said, after President Javier Milei's ruling party suffered a heavy defeat to opposition Peronists in a weekend election in the key province of Buenos Aires.
Based on provisional official counts, the socialist Peronists won 46.8% of the vote across the province, while the candidate of Milei's party took 33.8%, with 82.2% of the votes counted.
