Russia's economy is not in technical stagnation, Putin says
VLADIVOSTOK, Russia, Sept 5 (Reuters) - Russian President Vladimir Putin told an economic forum in the Far eastern city of Vladivostok on Friday that he does not agree with the assessment that the country's economy is in technical stagnation.
He said that the authorities need to ensure a soft landing for the economy. High inflation is not beneficial for the economy, and the Russian central bank maintains a high key rate to address this issue, Putin added.
