Brazil's Haddad says virtual meeting with US Treasury's Bessent canceled, no new date set
Aug 11 (Reuters) - Brazil's Finance Minister Fernando Haddad said on Monday that his virtual meeting with U.S. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent had been canceled after initially being scheduled for Wednesday.
Speaking to GloboNews TV, Haddad said no new date has been set for the call, even though the Brazilian government had requested to reschedule after being informed of the cancellation.
