BEIJING, Aug 7 (Reuters) - China's export growth picked up pace in July, expanding 7.2% from a year earlier in value terms, while imports grew 4.1%, customs data showed on Thursday.
Outbound shipments were expected to expand an annual 5.4%, according to a Reuters poll of economists, down from a 5.8% gain in June. Imports were forecast to shrink 1.0%, against a 1.1% increase previously.
