Brazil trade panel approves WTO consultation with US on tariffs, Lula to make final call
SAO PAULO, Aug 4 (Reuters) - Brazilian Vice President Geraldo Alckmin said that a council of ministers from trade chamber Camex gave the green light for the country to request a consultation at the World Trade Organization regarding the announced U.S. tariffs on Brazilian goods.
The final decision to consult the WTO is up to President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva, Alckmin told reporters in Brasilia.
