Brazil says US opened trade probe because of 'weak' case for tariffs
SAO PAULO, July 16 (Reuters) - Brazil's government believes that the United States launched a probe into alleged "unfair" Brazilian trade practices because its initial case for imposing a 50% trade tariff is weak, Solicitor General Jorge Messias said on Wednesday.
