Brazil won't change tone with US despite tariff threats, says VP

BRASILIA, July 9 (Reuters) - Brazil's Vice President Geraldo Alckmin said on Wednesday that Brazil will not change its tone with the United States after U.S. President Donald Trump threatened to increase tariffs on imports from Brazil earlier this week.

"I see no reason to raise tariffs on Brazil," Alckmin told journalists in Brasilia.
