SNB lowers outlook for global economy due to trade tensions
ZURICH, June 19 (Reuters) - The outlook for the global economy in the coming quarters has deteriorated due to higher trade tensions, Swiss National Bank governing board member Petra Tschudin said on Thursday,
"In our baseline scenario, we anticipate that growth in the global economy will weaken over the coming quarters," Tschudin said in a speech after the SNB's latest interest rate decision.
"The high level of trade policy uncertainty is having a negative impact on global investment momentum," she added.
