Brazil Lula to join G7 Summit in Canada following invitation from PM Mark Carney
SAO PAULO, June 11 (Reuters) - Canada's Prime Minister Mark Carney on Wednesday formally invited Brazil's President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva to participate in the extended session of the G7 Summit in Kananaskis on June 17.
Lula has accepted the invite made during a phone call, saying his country can contribute positively to the discussions, the Brazilian Presidential office said in a statement.
