German industrial orders rise 7.8% in December

Feb 4 (Reuters) - German industrial orders rose 7.8% in December, when compared with the previous month, on a seasonally and calendar-adjusted basis, the federal statistics office said on Thursday.
A Reuters poll of analysts had pointed to a fall of 2.2%.
The statistics office publishes more economic data on its website.
