- Romania's finance ministry aims to sell domestic treasury bonds and bills worth 4.5 billion lei in December, and an additional 15% worth of the issued paper through non-competitive tenders, it said on Tuesday.

The ministry has scheduled 8 bond tenders with residual maturities ranging from 1.4 to 14.6 years. Debt chief Stefan Nanu said last month Romania will have net negative issuance in November and December to help lower interest rates.

Romania has sold roughly 92.6 billion lei and 1.6 billion euros worth of domestic debt so far this year, and tapped foreign markets four times, selling 11.05 billion euros and $5 billion worth of eurobonds.
