India, US nearing trade deal that would slash tariffs on Indian exports to 15-16%, Mint reports

Oct 22 (Reuters) - India and the United States are nearing a long-stalled trade agreement that would reduce tariffs on Indian exports to the U.S. to 15-16% from the current 50%, India's Mint reported on Wednesday, citing three people aware of the matter.
