
Oct 2 (Reuters) - Greece's jobless rate stood at 8.1% in August, down from an upwardly revised 8.3% in July, data from statistics service ELSTAT showed on Thursday.
Seasonally adjusted data showed 383,788 people were officially unemployed.
Unemployment impacted women more than men, at the rates of 10.6% and 6.1%, respectively.
The jobless rate for young people aged 15 to 24 years rose to 19.0% in August from 17.2% in the same month in 2024, ELSTAT said.
