PRESIDENT TO GERMANY AND FRANCE
On Tuesday, Polish President Karol Nawrocki will visit Germany and France, where he will meet with German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier and Chancellor Friedrich Merz, as well as French President Emmanuel Macron.
DRONES
Poland's State Protection Service (SOP) has neutralized a drone operating over sensitive government locations, including Parkowa Street and the Belweder Palace, Prime Minister Donald Tusk said on X, amid heightened regional tensions following recent airspace violations.
CORE INFLATION
On Tuesday at 1200, the Polish central bank will release core inflation data for August. Analysts polled by Reuters expect it to slow to 3.1% from 3.3% in July.
DEFICIT
Poland had a budget deficit of 172.02 billion zlotys ($47.67 billion) at the end of August, state news agency PAP said on Monday, citing data from the Ministry of Finance. At the end of July, the deficit was 156.7 billion zlotys.
