PRESIDENT IN FINLAND
On Tuesday, Polish President Karol Nawrocki will visit Helsinki, where he will meet with Finnish President Alexander Stubb.
INTEREST RATES
Polish central banker Ludwik Kotecki said he sees room for another interest rate cut this year, the Puls Biznesu daily said on Tuesday.
ARMS INDUSTRY
The first signs of a government policy aimed at purchasing arms from Polish companies are visible, Dziennik Gazeta Prawna reported. The Polish Armaments Group (PGZ) estimates that its revenues will increase to 20 billion zlotys ($5.55 billion) in 2025, up from 14 billion zlotys ($3.88 billion) in 2024, according to the newspaper.
CCC
Dariusz Milek, the main shareholder of the CCC CCCP.WA footwear group, said the company has no plans for further acquisitions and is currently opening stores outside of Poland in Ukraine, Bulgaria, and Romania. It has also begun expansion in Spain and Italy, Rzeczpospolita reported.
