US, Mexico form high-level group to enforce border, anti-drug commitments
MEXICO CITY, Sept 3 (Reuters) - Mexico and The United States said on Wednesday that close coordination between the two governments has helped strengthen border security, reduce fentanyl trafficking, and advance intelligence sharing.
In a joint statement released during a visit by U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio to Mexico, the two governments said they had established high-level implementation groups that will meet regularly to follow up on mutual commitments and actions taken within their own countries.
