MEXICO CITY, July 30 (Reuters) - Mexico's economy grew 0.7% in the second quarter from the previous three-month period, a preliminary estimate from national statistics agency INEGI showed on Wednesday, above the 0.4% expected by economists in a Reuters poll.
Compared with the same quarter a year earlier, the Mexican economy grew 0.1% in the period. Economists expected a 0.2% year-on-year expansion.
