Mexico pre-pays $3.6 bln in sovereign bonds scheduled to mature in 2026
MEXICO CITY, July 2 (Reuters) - Mexico's Finance Ministry said on Wednesday the country is pre-paying two sovereign bonds originally scheduled to mature in 2026, worth $3.593 billion.
"These operations allow for minimizing the external debt amortizations scheduled for next year, providing greater flexibility to take advantage of opportunities in international financial markets," the ministry said in a statement.
