Greek unemployment rises to 9.0% in March

April 30 (Reuters) - Greece's jobless rate stood at 9.0% in March, up from an 8.6% in February, data from statistics service ELSTAT showed on Wednesday.
Seasonally adjusted data showed 424,575 people were officially unemployed.
Unemployment impacted women more than men, at the rates of 11.7% and 6.9%, respectively.
The jobless rate for young people aged 15 to 24 years rose to 25.2% in March from 22.7% in the same month in 2024, ELSTAT said.
