Kremlin: No announcements from Washington on Russian oil waiver
MOSCOW, April 14 (Reuters) - There have been no announcements from Washington about the extension of a U.S. waiver allowing countries to buy some sanctioned Russian oil and petroleum products, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on Tuesday.
The U.S. Treasury Department had allowed purchases of Russian oil and products at sea since mid-March with a 30-day waiver that expired on April 11, part of efforts to control global energy prices during the U.S.-Israeli war with Iran.
