BAGHDAD, March 18 (Reuters) - Iranian gas flows to Iraq were halted on Wednesday following an attack on Iran's Pars gas field, a senior Iraqi official told Reuters.
Tehran supplies between a third and 40% of Iraq's gas and power needs.
Iran diverted its gas domestically following the attack, the official added.
The attack was widely reported in Israeli media to have been carried out by Israel with the consent of the United States. The Israeli military did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
