
BERLIN, March 5 (Reuters) - German shipping company Hapag-Lloyd HLAG.DE said on Thursday it would implement contingency procedures for shipments that are already in transit to and from the Upper Gulf region following the suspension of all shipments to and from the area.
Measures, such as deviating vessels to contingency ports and keeping vessels in safe waters until possible to proceed, will be implemented for shipments that are already in transit to and from United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, Iraq, Oman, Yemen, it said.
