- Venezuela's interim President Delcy Rodriguez said on Wednesday that a reform of the country's main mining law will be submitted in coming days to the National Assembly for its discussion.

Rodriguez spoke at the end of a key meeting with the U.S. Secretary of Interior Doug Burgum, where opportunities in the mining industry were discussed, including mechanisms to "cut the red tape" for encouraging capital investment. About two dozen mining companies accompanied Burgum to his Caracas visit, he said.
