US Cash Grains-Corn basis bids steady to mixed

CHICAGO, Feb 23 (Reuters) - Spot basis bids for corn were steady to mixed at elevators, while soybeans were steady to higher at river terminals around the U.S. Midwest on Monday, according to a spot check of locations.

Basis bids for corn rose by 5 cents at an elevator in Blair, Nebraska. They fell 3 cents at an elevator near Chicago, Illinois.
Basis bids for soybeans rose 5 cents at a river terminal in Toledo, Ohio.
Chicago Board of Trade corn futures rose to multi-week highs on Monday as U.S. export demand gave support, and then finished almost flat. COR/
