US Cash Grains-Corn, soy bids mixed in quiet trade

CHICAGO, Feb 12 (Reuters) - Basis bids for corn and soybeans were mixed in the U.S. Midwest on Thursday in quiet trade.

The soybean basis ticked lower at an Ohio elevator and higher at an Illinois river terminal.
The corn basis was lower at a river terminal and higher at two ethanol plants.
Chicago soybean futures climbed to a two-month high on Thursday, supported by hopes of further Chinese demand for U.S. supplies and concern that rain in Brazil will disrupt the rival exporter's harvest.
Most-active soybeans Sv1 were last up 11-1/4 cents to $11.35-1/4 per bushel, and most-active corn Cv1 was last up 1-3/4 cents to $4.29-1/4 per bushel as of midday.
