NEW YORK, Feb 12 (Reuters) - Chevron's CVX.N 285,000-barrel-per-day El Segundo refinery aims to restart its fire-damaged unit by early March, sooner than previously expected, IIR Energy said on Thursday.
A large fire erupted in a Isomax unit, which converts mid-distillate fuel oil into jet fuel, at the refinery in October, disrupting supply in the Golden State's isolated energy market.
Chevron did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
