KYIV, Sept 12 (Reuters) - A Ukrainian drone attack suspended oil loading operations at Russia's Primorsk port overnight, an official from Ukraine's SBU security service told Reuters on condition of anonymity.
The official said that the attack caused fires at the facility, which is a key Russian oil export hub, but did not say whether the suspension was ongoing.
The governor of the Russian region where the port is located said earlier that a drone attack on the Primorsk port had set fire to a vessel and a pumping station, the first reported drone strike on one of the country's largest oil and fuel export terminals. He did not mention the war in Ukraine, saying only that the fire had been put out and no oil products had been spilled.
