Brazil says US order removed most Brazil pulp exports from 10% tariffs
SAO PAULO, Sept 11 (Reuters) - The United States issued an executive order on September 5 removing most Brazilian pulp exports from a 10% tariff, the Brazilian Ministry of Industry, Development, Trade and Services said on Thursday.
The Trump administration raised tariffs on most U.S. imports from Brazilian products to 50% from 10% in August, but wood pulp products were previously excluded from that increase.
The ministry also said that most Brazilian exports of "nickel-iron" were also removed from the 10% tariff with the September 5 order.
