Interior secretary to review all solar, wind energy decisions on federal lands

July 17 (Reuters) - The Trump administration said on Thursday that all decisions related to siting solar and wind energy facilities on federal lands will be reviewed by the office of Interior Secretary Doug Burgum.
The elevated reviews are meant to end what the Interior Department said was preferential treatment for the renewable energy sources, calling them unreliable and dependent on subsidies.
