Europe Gasoline/Naphtha-Gasoline profit margins rise

ReutersJun 16, 2025 5:12 PM

- Northwest European gasoline profit margins rose by about 54 cents to $13.57 a barrel on Monday.

  • 6,000 metric tons of Eurobob E5 barges traded, with Gunvor selling to TotalEnergies and Varo.

  • A further 14,000 tons of Eurobob E10 barges traded with Shell, TotalEnergies and Gunvor selling to Varo, MG Energy and Litasco.

  • China's crude oil throughput declined by 1.8% in May from a year earlier to the lowest level since August, official data showed on Monday, due to maintenance at both state-owned and independent refineries, with the average operating rate of primary refining units dropping to 72.87% in May.

  • Fuel markets tracker GasBuddy said they were estimating a five to 15 cents per gallon jump in U.S. gasoline prices over the coming weeks due to the Iran-Israel conflict.

  • EU and UK gasoline and blending component exports to other regions averaged 768,000 barrels per day (bpd) so far in June, lower than the 1.14 million bpd in May, Kpler data showed.
