CHICAGO, June 13 (Reuters) - Spot soybean basis bids were mostly flat to lower at U.S. Midwest processors and river terminals in a spot check on Friday, after Archer-Daniels-Midland ADM.N, a major U.S. soybean crusher and biofuel producer, cut bids to buy the oilseed this week ahead of an expected Trump administration announcement on biofuel blending requirements.
U.S. soyoil futures rocketed up on Friday and soybeans hit a three-week high after the Trump administration proposed biofuel blending requirements that were above trade expectations, analysts said.
The soybean basis fell 15 cents at a processor in Lafayette, Indiana.
The corn basis rose at a grain elevator in Blair, Nebraska and fell at a river terminal in Davenport, Iowa.
A processor in Cedar Rapids rolled from the July to the November contract.
Warm weather and rain continued to provide favorable weather for corn and soybean growth in the U.S. Midwest.
