US Cash Grains-Soybean, corn bids mostly steady

CHICAGO, June 10 (Reuters) - Spot basis bids for U.S. corn and soybeans were mostly flat at grain elevators, processing plants and river terminals in the U.S. Midwest on Tuesday, a spot check showed.

• The one exception was a corn processor in the Chicago area, which rose by 3 cents.

• Every other location in a spot check was unchanged for both corn and soybean basis bids.

• Soybean futures inched higher as ongoing trade talks between China, the world's No. 1 importer of the oilseed, and the United States, the second-largest exporter, fueled optimism about a resolution of the countries' tariff battle.

• Benign weather has provided ideal conditions for soybean and corn crop development in the Midwest.
