Everest names Mesagaes its renewable energy head

May 6 - (The Insurer) - Everest has named Jonathan Mesagaes as head of renewable energy, the company said on Tuesday.

Mesagaes will report to John Hyland, head of underwriting and marine, and will support clients across the division’s global specialties business.

With over two decades of underwriting experience, Mesagaes joined Everest in 2007 and most recently served as senior marine underwriter.

Prior to Everest, Mesagaes began his actuarial career at Crum & Forster.
