NEW YORK, April 30 (Reuters) - Exxon Mobil XOM.N said on Wednesday it is working to resolve an issue that occurred earlier this week at its 275,000 barrels per day refinery in Joliet, Illinois.
"We are working to resolve an operational issue that occurred on April 28 and expect to meet customer commitments," a company spokesperson said.
Exxon Mobil did not disclose the impact or the cause of the issue.
The company reported a flaring event at the Joliet refinery last week.
The Joliet refinery can produce about 11 million gallons a day of gasoline and diesel fuel, according to the company website.
