Mexico hopes to renew tomato agreement with the US

MEXICO CITY, April 15 (Reuters) - The Mexican government said Tuesday it hopes to begin talks with the United States to renew a bilateral agreement that benefited Mexican exporters and from which Washington intends to withdraw.

A pullout by the U.S. would entail paying duties of approximately 20% that would increase the price of goods.
