Motiva aims to complete Texas refinery FCC restart by April 10, sources say
HOUSTON, April 2 (Reuters) - Motiva Enterprises MOTIV.UL plans to complete the restart of the gasoline-producing fluidic catalytic cracker (FCC) by April 10 at its 626,000 barrel-per-day Port Arthur, Texas refinery, said people familiar with plant operations on Wednesday.
The 81,000-bpd FCC was shut on Jan. 21 for a planned overhaul expected to take two months to complete. The unit's compressor was damaged in a restart attempt during the weekend requiring repairs, the sources said.
