
SAO PAULO, Feb 11 (Reuters) - Brazilian steelmakers lobby group Aco Brasil said on Tuesday that it was "surprised" by the 25% tariffs imposed by the U.S. on steel, aluminum imports, adding that such measure would not benefit either of the countries.
Aco Brasil added in a statement that the earlier agreement between Brazil and the U.S. was favorable, and that the group and would open conversations to resume steel trade in previous terms.
