Sony facing multi-billion-pound mass lawsuit over PlayStation Store prices - The trial of a mass lawsuit against Sony worth up to 6 billion pounds over claims the PlayStation maker abused its dominant position leading to unfair prices for customers will begin at London's Competition Appeal Tribunal. Sony Interactive Entertainment was sued in 2022 on behalf of nearly 9 million people in the United Kingdom who had bought digital games or add-on content through Sony's PlayStation Store. The trial is listed for 10 weeks.
