Ethereum’s 10th Anniversary Livestream Could Propel ETH Past $4,000

TradingKey – The Ethereum Foundation has announced a global livestream event to celebrate Ethereum’s 10-year anniversary, July 30 at 2:30 PM UTC.

The event will feature keynote speeches from Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin, ConsenSys founder Joseph Lubin, and the Foundation’s co-executive directors, offering insights into Ethereum’s past, present, and future.

On July 28, ETH briefly surged to $3,940, its highest level since December 2024, before pulling back to $3,818.Analysts believe the anniversary event could accelerate institutional interest, potentially driving ETH past the $4,000 resistance level in the near term.

According to Geoff Kendrick, Head of Digital Assets Research at Standard Chartered, ETH is on track to break $4,000 by year-end, fueled by growing treasury accumulation and strategic corporate purchases.

However, Kendrick notes that the anniversary livestream may act as a catalyst, deepening institutional understanding of Ethereum’s infrastructure and prompting faster ETH accumulation, which could lead to an earlier breakout.
