The Trump administration is pursuing funding deals with a group of drone companies as part of its effort to increase domestic production and lower the costs of the increasingly vital weapons, people familiar with the matter said, The Wall Street Journal reported.
Drone stocks jumped in overnight trading. Unusual Machines rose 20%; Red Cat rose 12%; Ondas Holdings rose 7%; AeroVironment rose 4%; Kratos Defense & Security Solutions rose 2%.
