TradingKey - On January 7th, MediaTek (2454.TW), one of the world's top semiconductor manufacturers, showcased AI elements at CES 2025, known as the "Tech Spring Festival Gala". After being named by NVIDIA's Jensen Huang, it attracted much attention and its share price soared to an all-time high during the trading session.
Jensen Huang, the CEO of the AI giant NVIDIA, made a blockbuster announcement today of the RTX 50 series of graphics cards and also launched the AI supercomputer platform "Project DIGITS", which is equipped with the latest GB10 super chip. And NVIDIA publicly named MediaTek, the only Taiwanese manufacturer, to jointly develop chips.
Rick Tsai, the CEO of MediaTek, said that the cooperation with NVIDIA on the GB10 super chip coincides with MediaTek's vision of bringing technology to everyone. He looks forward to working with NVIDIA to usher in an innovative era of supercomputing and make AI omnipresent.
At noon on the 7th, MediaTek's share price surged in response, briefly soaring to a historical high of 1,500 TWD and closing up 4.56% at 1,490 TWD.

On the same day, MediaTek announced its cooperation with intelliGoto Technology to develop AI voice solutions targeting fields such as the automotive, smart home, and smart retail markets, and these solutions were showcased at this CES consumer electronics show.
According to the introduction, this cooperation will seamlessly integrate intelliGoto's advanced AI acoustic pre-processing technology and AI technology into MediaTek's latest Dimensity Auto intelligent cockpit platform, which includes 3-nanometer technology, and jointly launch innovative solutions specifically designed for in-vehicle voice control.
