South Africa Consumer Price Index (MoM) remains at 0.7% in June

TradingKey - On September 30, Japanese and South Korean stock markets rose in tandem during early trading, with tech stocks showing active performance. Japan's Nikkei 225 Index opened 0.99% higher at 66,128.59 points, with gains later expanding to 1.33% at 66,350.59 points. South Korea's KOSPI Index opened 1.06% higher at 6,943.47 points, and subsequently stood 1.03% higher at 6,941.91 points.

US stocks edged lower as US Treasury yields climbed to multi-year highs again. Some tech stocks rebounded, with optical communications shares leading the gains and bank stocks leading the declines. At the close, the Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 0.26% to 51,349.92; the Nasdaq Composite Index slipped 0.09% to 26,797.54; and the S&P 500 Index dropped 0.17% to 7,670.84.
