US Foods Q2 FY2026 earnings: Margin expansion lifts profit growth

US Foods’ Q2 FY2026 net sales rose 4.5% to $10.532 billion, while GAAP diluted EPS increased 29.2% to $1.24. Adjusted EBITDA reached a record $604 million, up 10.2%, and its margin expanded 29 basis points to 5.7%. Independent restaurant case volume grew 5.1%, partly offset by a 1.5% decline in chain volume. First-half operating cash flow was unchanged at $725 million, and the company reaffirmed its full-year growth guidance.
