Stellus Q2 2026 Earnings: Repayments Reduce Investment Income

Stellus Capital Investment Corporation (NYSE: SCM) reported fiscal Q2 2026 investment income of $22.3 million, down from $25.7 million a year earlier, while GAAP net investment income fell to $0.26 per share from $0.34. Repayments of $49.2 million exceeded $18.0 million of new investments, reducing the portfolio to $968.2 million and contributing to lower yields. A $15.9 million unrealized appreciation lifted the net increase in assets from operations to $16.2 million despite $7.2 million of realized investment losses.
