Nasdaq 100 Futures Drop Over 1% as Tech Stocks Dip

U.S. stock futures dropped. Nasdaq 100 futures fell 1.1%, S&P 500 futures fell 0.5%.

Big tech stocks fell in premarket trading. Broadcom fell 13%; Micron fell 6%; Intel and AMD fell 4%; Oracle fell 3%; TSMC fell 2%; Tesla, Meta, and Nvidia fell about 1%.

Other chip stocks also dropped in premarket trading. Direxion Daily Semiconductors Bull 3x Shares fell 12%; Navitas Semiconductor Corp, Super Micro Computer, and ARM Holdings fell 7%; Marvell Technology and SanDisk fell 6%; Qualcomm fell 5%; Western Digital, Seagate, and ASML fell 3%.
