Premarket Movers | Ericsson Jumps 8%; Space Stocks Rise with Redwire, Sidus Space up Around 4%; Rare Earth Stocks Rise with The Metals up over 3%
Shares of Ericsson jumped 8% after earnings result. The Swedish telecoms gear maker said it planned to return 15 billion Swedish crowns ($1.7 billion) to investors through share repurchases as it trounced quarterly earnings expectations on Friday.

Intuitive Surgical on Thursday beat Wall Street estimates for fourth-quarter profit and revenue on growing demand for its surgical robots used in minimally invasive procedures. Shares of the Sunnyvale, California-based company rose 2.9% in premarket trading.

Rare earth stocks jumped in premarket trading. The Metals up over 3%; USA Rare Earth up over 2%; Niocorp up over 1%.

USA Rare Earth Inc stock rose over 17% on Thursday after the company announced it has selected Fluor Corp and WSP Global Inc as its Engineering, Procurement and Construction Management (EPCM) partners for its Round Top Rare Earth Project in Texas.
Space stocks rose in premarket trading. Redwire, Sidus Space up around 4%; EchoStar up over 1%.
