U.S. Defense and drone stocks jumped in overnight trading. Kratos up 8%; AeroVironment up 7%; Northrop and L3Harris up 6%; Draganfly, Red Cat and AIRO up 4%; RTX, General Dynamics, Ondas up 3%.

Applied Digital shares climbed 4% in overnight trading after the company released its second quarter earnings report, beating estimates on the top and bottom lines.

Canadian Solar's (CSIQ) stock plummeted 7% in overnight trading following the company's announcement of a proposed offering of $200 million convertible senior notes due 2031. The offering includes an overallotment option of up to $30 million, with proceeds intended to fund U.S. manufacturing capacity and general corporate purposes.
