Auto stocks jumped in Hong Kong. GAC Group rose 6%; Geely Auto rose 3%; BYD, Chery Auto, and Xiaomi rose 2%; Great Wall Motor, XPeng, and Li Auto rose 1%; while NIO fell 0.8%.
