Strategy Acquires 220 Bitcoins for $27.2M in Past Week

Bitcoin treasury company Strategy announced on Monday an acquisition of 220 bitcoins for $27.2M during the week of October 6 to October 12.
The cryptocurrency was bought for an average purchase price of $123,561.
Last week, the Michael Saylor-founded company did not buy any BTC.
The company held 640,250 bitcoins in aggregate, purchased for $47.38B.
MSTR made the weekly purchases using proceeds from its preferred stock at-the-market offerings.
The company sold 170,663 Strategy Inc 10.00% SER A PERPETUAL STRIFE PFD STK (STRF) for net proceeds of $19.8M; 16,873 Strategy Inc 8.00% SERIES A PERPETUAL STRIKE PFD (STRK) shares for $1.7M; and 68,775 Perpetual Stride Preferred Stock (STRD) for $5.8M.
